ABOUT US

University Hills, the faculty and staff housing community on the UCI campus, consists of owner-occupied homes and rental apartments. The rental office manages the Gabrielino, Las Lomas and Santiago apartment complexes and also provides assistance to UCI personnel and visitors in finding rental housing in the surrounding community.

DIRECTIONS

From the 405 Frwy, exit at Culver. 405 South, turn right or 405 North, turn left onto Culver. Take Culver to Campus. Turn right onto Campus. Take Campus to East Peltason. Turn left onto East Peltason. Take East Peltason to Los Trancos. Turn left onto Los Trancos. Proceed approx. 100 yards; office is on right side of street, past apartments. There is a speed bump in the road opposite the office parking lot. Sign says "Faculty and Staff Housing Office." We are #31 on the campus map.

Off-Campus Housing Assistance

To assist new and current UCI personnel in finding rental housing in the community, this office maintains a database of furnished and unfurnished homes, condominiums and rooms. Short and long-term sabbatical rental listings, located on-campus (University Hills) and in the nearby community, are available for review.

Useful resource brochures include guides to complexes in Irvine and Selected Complexes in Neighboring Cities (www.housing.uci.edu/och/localapt.asp) These guides provide detailed information on apartment prices, sizes, amenities, and indicate where discounts are available to UCI personnel.

The office also offers a wide range of relocation materials such as area maps, Irvine School District (www.iusd.k12.ca.us) and child care brochures (www.cityofirvine.org/depts/cs/childcare/), and car rental, dining and hotel information (www.confserv.uci.edu/o_hotel.html).
