Furnished Apartment Eligibility Requirements and Assignment Priorities
- Furnished apartments in either Gabrielino or Las Lomas are for short-term academic visitors to the University of California, Irvine.
- Furnished apartments may be reserved for periods ranging from one week to one year, with priority given to reservations of one quarter minimum.

GABRIELINO RENTAL RATES
The Gabrielino Sage and Willow apartments are furnished to accommodate academic visitors. Each unit opens onto a private balcony or small patio. The living room offers comfortable seating, a pull out couch, as well as a study area. The open kitchen is fully equipped with all standard large and small appliances, and includes a dining table and chairs. The bedroom has one queen-sized bed and a chest of drawers.

LAS LOMAS RENTAL RATES
The Las Lomas two-bedroom apartments comfortably house up to four occupants. Ground floor apartments have small enclosed gardens with attractive landscaping and second floor units feature private balconies. The kitchen is fully equipped with all standard large and small appliances, cookware, and dining needs. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and study corner with desk and chair, while the second bedroom is furnished with twin beds.

PAYMENT
The first payment includes the full or prorated first month’s rent, the security deposit, and an optional, refundable $25 pool key deposit. This total payment should be mailed to the ICHA Rental Office prior to your arrival at UCI. Bank checks or money orders in U.S. dollars or personal checks (from U.S. banks only) are accepted modes of payment. Credit cards and money transfers are not accepted. Please make checks or money orders payable to ICHA.
KEYS AND CHECK-IN
Keys may be obtained from the ICHA Rental Office between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Any visitors arriving after 5 p.m. on weekdays or on a weekend or holiday should make special arrangements for key pick-up. The academic visitor can arrange to have a departmental representative pick up the keys or notify the Rental Office that the keys (and parking permit) should be left in the drop box next to the front door at 20 Los Trancos Drive. These items will be enclosed in an envelope addressed to the visitor and placed in the unmarked drop box prior to the anticipated arrival date.
PETS
Pets are not allowed in furnished Gabrielino and Las Lomas apartments.
RESERVATION POLICY
Gabrielino and Las Lomas apartments may be reserved for periods ranging from a minimum of one week to a maximum of one year, with priority given to reservations of one quarter minimum. Please complete a reservation form in order to be put on the waiting list.
